BDM Customs needed a site that matched the quality of their work — fast, built for mobile, and structured to turn visitors into booked appointments. Here's how we redesigned it from the ground up.
BDM Customs builds some of the best custom trucks in the region, but their old website didn't reflect it. The site was slow to load, difficult to navigate on mobile, and hadn't been updated in years. Visitors were leaving before they ever saw the work the shop was capable of.
On top of the design issues, the site wasn't set up to capture leads — there was no clear path for a visitor to request a quote or get in touch, which meant the business was losing potential customers it never even knew about.
We started from scratch — a new design, new structure, and a clear path for every visitor to take the next step.
A bold, image-forward layout built around the shop's actual work — custom builds, lift kits, and before/after transformations front and center.
Since most visitors arrived on their phones, every page was designed mobile-first, then scaled up for desktop.
Compressed imagery, optimized code, and modern hosting cut load times significantly across every page.
A "Start Your Build" quote form was placed on every page, so no visitor was more than one click from getting in touch.
Within weeks of launch, BDM Customs saw a measurable jump in both site performance and the number of quote requests coming through. The new site now functions as a 24/7 salesperson — showcasing the shop's work and making it easy for new customers to reach out.
BDM Customs had years of experience building and upgrading trucks, but their website had no dedicated place to showcase completed projects. Potential customers couldn't easily see the quality of the work, explore previous builds, or get inspiration for their own trucks.
I created an entirely new Featured Builds page to turn completed installations into a visual portfolio. Using photos I captured of finished builds, I documented each truck's upgrades and specifications, giving visitors a closer look at the craftsmanship, components, and attention to detail behind every project.
The result was more than a gallery. It gave the business a new way to demonstrate its capabilities, build customer confidence, and help prospective customers envision what's possible for their own vehicles. The new page also impressed the owner and management by presenting the shop's work in a way the previous website never had.
"The new website does a great job showcasing our builds and the quality of work we put into every truck. I love the Build page and how it highlights what we do and gives customers a better look at our work. Great job bringing it all together!"
